I do plan to overclock..though..iv never done it before...but you have to start somewhere...but..im still not sure on whether to go with a better processor...what speed do you think i could overclock the processor to? 2.8?..2,6? This is mainly a gaming comp.

Anyway..that is it. Please tell me what you think.

Some people have overclocked them to 2.6 ghz, if you talk by regular standards. But AMD is much different as you know, in the sense of its speed. You can't like compare it to intel. Also you might want to consider getting some other sort of cooling (fans, liquid) if your going to overclock it.
As for you processor, i use a laptop with an amd 64 3200, i like it but for gaming i have and amd x2 4600 (my laptop can still play Hl2, CSS, Halo etc) proabably not Fear but.....

Anyways hope it goes well

looks good, every processor overclocks a different amount, but as a vague ceiling it will be 33% faster.

(take a look at OC 101 if you haven't)

What do you mean amd clock speed will be different...as i know....lol. This is my first time using an AMD....actually..all i am familiar with is a 2.8 intel on my lappy. oh...how are the clock speeds different....does AMD respond faster...or..the opposite..now im interested...i dont remember seeing this in the CPU 101.

Im a big fan of amd, i only use them. Amd will be faster than an intel. it really has no fsb also. which is a plus. But like what i am saying is that and intel 2.8 ghz will not neccesarily be faster than an amd 2.2ghz. and especially not faster than an amd 64 and 2.2ghz. Browse these sites for more info. Instant message me at jamesbondzao if you have any questions, my friend can set this straight as well, so don't hesitate to ask.

Ughh..I allready bought the PSU...why the heck are you telling me this now..lol. Jk. I mean..the PSU came with the Graphics card ...its was a really good deal i couldnt pass up..and..from the reveiws...the X-infinity looks allright..more than enough power...with duel rails....way over 30 A on the 12v. It will suit me for now. Unless im missing something and this PSU makes computers explode.
It doesnt does it?

...Undortunately..i cant buy off of NEwegg either...no international shipping

the AMD vs Intel: A very rough estimate is something like if you had a 3.2GHz intel and an AMD 3200+ they would be equal, again this is VERY rough, it is hard to compare the two.
