My comp has 2 CPU's (so says the devise maneger)

as the title says, i noticed i have 2 cpus listed on Divise mameger even though my comp is not dual core... Also another test fro my hardwar showedx 2 CPU's

here is the pic



now my comp is a new dell dimention 5150, is it realy 2 cpu's there? and if it is how do i use both of them in a dual core fashion if anyone knows..

HT acts as another cpu, which uses the unused clock cycles to produce an additional logical core.

It's completely normal.
 
I noticed that you have a P4 3.0, FSB 533, and 2 Gigs of memory. I have the same P4 with 1mb of L2 cache. If your processor has a 800mhz FSB like mine then you are at 800mhz FSB if duel channel memory is supported on mob. Check out Intel's Frequency ID. You can download it on Intel's web site. When you run it reports Processor type, FSB Speed. It show expected FSB and actual FSB. Great program to check how much you have overclock. If you like to do that, overclock that is.
