My computer build (Budget: 700$)

Alright, I think this is my final build. My plan is to SLI the graphics card once i need to upgrade. Please tell me if anything isn't right, I don't know what to check to know they all work together, if the MOBO has enough slots for everything (including room for two graphics cards). I'm paranoid that I'm going to buy everything and somethings not gonna work right. Please alleviate my fears and tell me it's all good (but don't lie...)!

You forgot the power supply, now for the rest of the build, you'd better off with a single video card than SLI you could save some money by getting a cheaper mother board at least 20$ if not 50$, the video card isn't worth 150$, since for that price you could get a 8600GTS

100% agree with you.

And I haven't heard of hec Orion PSU before... not sure quality
Looking at the spec. it don't say SLi support...

So the 160MHz speed increase is worth the 256 mb loss of ram?

And what's wrong with SLI? I'm not going to do it now, only once the 8600's are down to around 70$. Will two 8600's not play games 3 years from now? I can turn the settings all the way down if needed.

And whats wrong with my MOBO? I heard that 680i's where amazing. And it doesn't look like the gigabyte one can SLI... though yall don't seem to like that much.

Okay well... assume I don't have the money for an 8800 (cause I don't!). 280$ now =/= 130$. By the time I SLI it, it will be a lot cheaper, making it cheaper then the 8800 total. It won't perform as well, I know... but it will be cheaper.

Also, If that PSU doesn't support SLI, whats the next best option for a PSU that does support it? Thanks!

If i get an evga 8600, and they release 9000's, can't I upgrade to the 8800 by paying just the difference, or does it only work if I upgrade to the new line? And if I can, does anyone know if they will be released in the next 90 days?
