I used to be able to edit videos on windows movie maker and open and close programs almost normally, but now I can't watch hardly any videos, opening and closing things often takes 5 minutes, or just freezes the computer. I'm pretty lucky to even get onto the internet and write this. Please suggests some ways to fix it. My computer only has a few more programs compared to before, but I do use an external harddrive through a usb 1.1 (slow) port.
