Hey guys, just overclocked my cpu after burning in some AS5. I usually would set my multiplier my 9 but this time by 8 and see if i get any luck in more performance. I set the FSB at 410 or whatever it was and equals up to 3280. My problem is i went into the Dxdiag and found my cpu being overclocked to 3.7ghz? not 3.3 as rounding off. What would be the problem??? does this affect my PC at all?

any replies thanks guys

Yea i forgot the multiplier was locked but whats funny is, once i overclocked it around 370x9 and would lock up and would not boot and i would have to delete the CMOS, but i have stretched it to 410 and it boots up fine??? DiD automatically adjust the volts? or that has to be manually done?
