My cpu works harder

When i start windows my CPU fan rotates faster. When i login to windows my CPU USUAGE about 50 %. after 10 minutes it comes to normal. i don't know why it is happening. please reply me what is the problem.
 
Have you cleaned all the dust and dirt out of the cpu fan lately? Also, I've noticed that some Sony, Compaq, and Emachine pc's do that from day one of buying.

+1. My Core 2 Quad starts up pretty smoothly, and doesn't tend to load too much IIRC, but the Pentium M in my laptop takes about a minute to get down to normal idle usage. Try Aastii's guide on how to speed Windows:

Is your CPU running hot? Use Speedfan to check:

It might also be able to change your fan speed.
