My Crappy 3D Mark2005 Score

My first computer in my sig got 1676 3dmarks. That compares to a computer that got the same score but has:
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) XP/MP/4 2526 MHz
GPU: ATI RADEON 9600 TX, 526 MHz / 324 MHz
Display Driver: 6.14.10.6483
Driver Status: WHQL - FM Approved
Resolution: 1024x768 32 bit
OS: Microsoft Windows XP
System Memory: 1536 MB
Video Memory: 128 MB
I think my computer my computer should be able to score higher. I think the problem could be my slow kingston pc2700 ram. I also have noticedmy bothers computer night be a better gamming computer then mine and he has:
AMD Sempron 2800+ 64 bit
1 GB PC 3200
6600GT
I still havent tested his computer but i belive his computer will fare better. So what do you guys think.

The Ahlon XP probably isn't helping much either. That does seem a tad slow for a 6800 however.

I think i am being held back. If I where to buy pc 3200 ram do you think i would see an improvement in performance.

Yes, you probably would see an improvement, but not likely very large..

keep in mind: how old is your computer? many of the older AMD boards capped at DDR333, which would explain why you have it.
