My credit Card & Personal Info Used Online Is it On Hard Drive?

Would appreciate someone helping me out here. I'm thinking of selling one of my computers. I really don't have any files on the computer with any info but I do use my credit card online to make purchases. Does that internet info stay on my hard drive or is it basically wiped out once I clear my cache and clear things from the internet?
 
If you haven't saved your personal info on any websites it's probably not on your computer but a format is a good idea anyway.
