My Dvd Rom Problems!!

My DVD Rom Run some Dvd's But Some Does not Run !! What Can Be The Problem ??? Is It With My DVD RW Or with DVD or CD ??

Are they original dvd's or burnt copies? If the rom reads some and not others I'm guessing its the dvd itself, not the drive. Can you try them in a different system?

Would u happen to have an extra dvd RW available to switch out?

Color of dye makes a diff on CD's or DVD's.
Older might not recognize them all because of
sensitivity of laser heads and quality. I have seen this
many times because of this. Burned cd's of pictures or family
movies and some could not read them. I tried them all before sent
and worked fine. I have gray, blue and red. Dual layer, dvd's and CD's
for this. Mine read them all. Im talking about my information only and
private. Not movies etc. Not talking about anything with copy protection.
