I own an Acer Aspire 5710 notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium on it and it has a DVD RW drive that has been working well until recently. The drive recognises CDs but fails to recognise DVDs. The DVD RW drive is an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A ATA Device. When I right click the drive and go to Properties, under the General tab it states that the drive type is only a CD drive. Can anyone offer any advice? Cheers
