My FIREFOX is seriously MESSED UP!

Alright, heres the story...

So my comptuter freezes for no reason while im surfing firefox (and no, i was not looking at pr0ns) so

I just hold down the power button on my PC and reboot it. When it loads up, firefox is all weird, all my bookmarks were gone

and the whole theme wasnt the same. Also, my firefox started acting like everytime I launched it, was the first time I launched firefox. So it would greet me with the WELCOME NEW USER thing, so would my plug ins for firefox. I would be greeted by the google toolbar FIRST TIME screen also.



Soo, i uninstall firefox, and i reinstall buuut my plugins are still installed ... WTH?? So im like, okay... and i uninstall each of my plugins individualy through firefox and I uninstall firefox again and reinstall. Now im greeted with the welcome screen.. normal. i guess. I go and set my homepage to google.com and exit firefox. I launch it again and guess what? My homepage isnt google.com. Firefox launches 2 pages, 1 is the mozila homepage, and the other is the WELCOME NEW USER page. OMG!!!

Firefox is kiling me...

Im typing this up in IE right now, just because I dislike using OPERA >.<

i dont think you did a complete uninstall though, you need to remove all firefox preferences left back in the program files as well as the regsitry.
Once all firefox files are removed reboot and re-install

Yeah do that and scan for Virii and spyware. I'm sure there are some fugly firefox targeted malware out there.

And why weren't you looking at pr0ns? And you call yourself a man.. If you are a female excuse me, mam.
