My first build, some issues, Help!

I recently completed my first computer build, everything seems to be running smoothly other than gaming.

I'm able to run Skyrim and BF3 to near max. Both these games have the same issue however.

Occasionally, when I load a map/multiplayer/level/zone. I will get a massive frame drop down to 10-20 fps.

It runs smooth again only by completely reloading the map/reconnecting.

I have no idea where this issue could be coming from, or where to begin.
 
Like jonny said, make sure you have the latest 11.12 drivers, and you choose your correct OS.

Does this happen when you're offline?
 
Could have sworn I did the lastest, unless I clicked an older link on the website.

We'll just installed the 11.12 driver.. on completion it scared me with a flicker or colors and static-like noise, looking like it was refreshing the screen.. not sure if thats normal.

Hopefully this does the trick!
 
The flickering is normal. Did you uninstall the previous drivers you had on it? If not, there may be even more problems.
