and I'm picking up a Microsoft 6000 keyboard and mouse for $50. are they any good??? are they any other good keyboard and mouse combo for $50-75

thank you:D :D :D

Case: good
Motherboard: Good
GPU: Get the X1950XT instead
CPU: good
RAM: Pretty high voltages required there. Get this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231088
If you could get a 2x512 set instead, go for either of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145040 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231094
HD: good
Monitor: hmmm...don't know about that brand.
Optical: good
PSU: any of those would be great.
Microsoft 6000 key/mouse: I have it, it is good.

Of the three PSUs, i'd go for the Corsair HX520W. None are bad choices, but the Corsair is the best quality of the three, and since you won't need the extra power of the GXS or TPIII, there's no reason not to go with it.

hilmi, please start your own thread for your question rather than hijacking someone else's. It would also help if you included your budget.

More ram less CPU

Just between the fact I have an E6600 and have worked with two E6300 systems one being OC'd to 2.9Mhz and the other stock. I'd say go with the E6300 and get 2gb of ram. It is worth it IMHO. You will see a bigger performance gain from it in games and other tasks.

i am not an ATI guy

That ram doesn't look that bad but I would rather have 1x1 stick of ram not 2x512.

how is your mouse for gaming???

i dont know if i am going to OC so i would rather buy a E6600

When should I order these parts??? when would they be the cheapest??? Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or teusday/boxing day

You should probably wait till a little after xmas. Prices should drop a little. As for as mouse and keyboard go with what you like. I like ergonomic keyboards, and my mouse is a MX Revolution.

EDIT: Check out the memory in my sig. We almost have the same computers.

If you have gotten the key/mouse set, then it is fine, however, the wireless isn't the best. If you value accuracy, then wired is best (at least with my experiences with this Wireless set). It would probably do fine, but I haven't played any FPS games, I usually just use my joystick in racing games.

If you really want Media Center, you could get it. However, XP Pro is great.

Single card, no problems. If SLI is a possibility, get the GameXStream (of the three, although i'd personally spend more on a PSU for SLI'd 8800GTXs).

i dont think i could put a system with 8800GTX in SLI in my budget
