Ok, never built or sought to build a computer before in my life.

After research and investigating i came up with this.

The premis of my computer build was to plug into new tv and have ability to play blurays, while also being able to game in the top games efficently, and having enough space to store enough media incase it snows for a year.

about 100 in mail in rebates plus shipping puts it at 1100, about 100 higher than original aim kinda went crazy when i saw the new phenoms.

So ya just looking for a would be a good system or a wtf are you think comment.

Strongly recommend you spend extra $50 for intel i7 920

Also, for video card, get ATI 4870 512MB instead. Your motherboard support Crossfire not SLi. If you not planning for Crossfire, go for a cheaper board.

Thandakid was being sarcastic, but sarcasm doesnt convey well at all over the internet. The i7 currently is the best cpu available, other than the super expensive 6core xeons.
