Thoughts? The price can't vary to much I still have to buy a mouse and keyboard.

Your build looks great, the only thing that I could suggest to you would this piece of ram instead of the one you currently have. It's slightly slower by 200 mhz, but it does have a lower CAS rate. I believe it's better safe than sorry with your ram so here is my suggestion. It's a about 20 dollars more expensive, but I understand if that's a deal breaker!

Do you mind me asking what the purpose of the build is? I suppose I know your budget seeing as it can't vary from $970!

dropping your speed to drop the CAS latency is detrimental. CAS and speed are fine, that RAM is perfect..

I have no issues at a CAS 11 @2133MHz..

I didn't say his build was bad, I suggested the ram not demaaaanded it. I like the build I think it's a solid parts list.

Thanks for all the help!! Was going to wait for the new ASUS GTX 960 4 gbs of ram to come out but this will work fine. My purpose for the PC is gaming.

The 280X is better than the 960 anyway I think.
