My friends boot loads slow

Hey guys,

My friend has the following system:

CPU:Intel Pentium 4 3.2Ghz
Mobo : ASUS P4P800-X
Memory : 1GB PC2700
HDD1:160GB
HDD2:300GB
DVDROM
DVDRW Dual Layer
Windows XP Pro Sp2
Wireless Network card
nVidia Geforce 6200
Creative Audigy 2 ZS

Now would you say these loading boot times are slow for that system?

Those are both newly fresh intalls by the way.

To be honest i think there quite slow loading times,My system boots xp in half the time his did.
Why is this...he has like a P4

You couldn't really make out who was running what and the loading of Vista was cut short for actual time comparison. The older AMD models offered more performance then the P4s by performing more work in less time by running on a faster fsb rather then just cpu clock speed. Dual booting is also a factor you have to weigh in as well as the amount of items installed already on the fresh copies of each Winodws version.
