my wireless won't work after reinstalling windows xp on my ibm thinkpad t42 2374-L1U. I have tried many drivers. The wireless works for 3 hours at most, then it gives me no connectivity until i get a new driver, then it works for 2 hours and so on. I am ready to throw this thing off the cn tower! Help!

You know, I have had kinda similar problem with IBMs before (which I still consider a great laptop brand anyway). My wireless would show up and disapear, it won't take wep passwords or whatever, etc., so I got me a usb wireless adapter and (they come with a cd with the drivers) it did the job. Happened on two different ibms. I bought a cheap adapter from ebay. Hope that helps

I've never been able to use Windows to control my wireless adapter in an IBM. Download the software that controls the adapter (came pre-installed on the laptop) and I think you'll have more luck. Cheers.
