So recently my laptop broke the hard drive became corrupt, so i got it fixed the only issue was the usable ram had gone down and the OS went from 64 bit to 32 bit I thought i could fix this by installing 64 bit win 10 (which i had before i had to get a new hard drive) but it says i have to download the 32 one (not in those words but you know what i mean) so can i not get 64 bit windows again will i have to buy 64 bit windows or something, any ideas are welcome, this is not the greatest of laptops but this is the only thing i have to game on until Christmas when i get a new PC since my old one broke

This, in the Media Creation Tool you can just specify 32, 64 or both for the image. Then you can either download an ISO or create a bootable USB stick and use that to install a 64-bit variant of Windows 10.
i now know whats wrong with it the stupid person who fixed my laptop bought a 32 bit hard drive in stead of a 64 bit but i thank you both for the suggestions

No the stupid person installed the 32 Bit version of Windows, see this problem frequently. Honestly I think the only thing running 32 Bit Windows these days are the lower end tablets. Reinstall with a 64 Bit ISO.
