My LCD cracked!

Well the strangest thing happened last night, I was working on installing a spyware scanner on my aunts laptop, and my AOC 22" Widescreen monitor made a pop-pop creeking sound, and I swivled around to look at it, and there is a huge, distracting crack on the monitor itself. It has not got deep enough for to get the Liquid Crystals, but its still a huge crack in the screen.

Is my monitor safe to be used like this? How long would you think it would last before its time to get a replacement? I had visions of waking up to a monitor full of blothces and blobs this morning

It's still OK to use, it's not unsafe like a plasma would be. As for the longevity, thats a crap shoot there way to hard to say...but I wouldn't bet on real long. Month tops.

Fantastic =( Well, in a month, I can save upto £250, so ill be able to get a replacement with that I should imagen.
