today i was burning some backup files then at 99% it said ERROR on nero
after dat . . . my DVD drive cannot read any CD or DVD's . . . .
i checked the cable and looked for an firmware for it but no luck . . . .
mayb its time for a new DVD burner or is there a way to fix it ?
 
i have that same burner, never had a problem like that before, try using the LG Firmware Auto Updater to resotre an earlier FirmWare version. Failing that contact LG tech suppor, check their website for details
