My monitor dislikes CF

Strange new issue with my monitor, which is an HP w2207h, when I have Chrome open and am browsing the interweb I usually have multiple tabs opened. The monitor is completely silent on all other websites, but when I switch it to the ComputerForum tab it starts making a quiet humming/buzzing noise.

It does this with Chrome, IE, and Firefox and it's been happening for a few days... Am I just not meant to be on CF? What could be making this happen?
 
Well, white take more power to display than any other color, and CF uses a lot of white, so I would say that the buzzing would be related to monitor's power supply outputting more power.

That is rubbish. On the LCD monitor he has, white is displayed more energy efficiently. The phenomonen you refer to relates to CRT monitors.
 
Lol, when i read the title i thought it said "My mother dislikes CF" but i don't know why you have that problem with your monitor lol xD
