when it boots up do u still hear the window's noise? ..
do you have on board graphic's or seperate card?
have you tired a different monitor?(or tyred your monitor on a differnt(working) computer)
first try your monitor on a differnt computer or try a differnt monitor then you'll know if its the monitor or not
second .. if your monitor works then its either your fx card or mobo .. if its your fx card then replace it if its your onboard fx the its your mobo then replace it .. not much you can do to fix it if you can't see the screen .. paying someone 2 fix it will cost heaps and if you know how to fix componet issues then you won't be on this forum ..
