I have spent the last month spending a lot of money as I got the itch to build a new desktop, as my Shuttle media system is starting to get a little dated.
I went for The CoolerMaster CM-690 Dominater case with a CM 520W PSU.
The build consists of:
Plus got a new DGM 20" monitor on the cheap.
I'm running Vista Ultimate and it's absolutely beautiful.
The graphics card is taken from my old system, and will be replaced with something much better once I've talked my other half round and pursuaded her that this is required.
I bought the black edition AMD 5000 and a decent CPU cooler so that I could have a go at overclocking, I've read plenty of reviews that assure me I could get a clock speed of around 3.2G from this processor.
I was wondering whether buying a second GPU exactly the same as my current one and using the SLi feature would be better than spending a little extra and replacing it altogether?
Regards,
Paul
