I'm doing a new build and wanted advise on it on what would be better for it. I will mainly be gaming, some video editing, and also running multiple applications at once. plus I'm going to oc a some point

I am getting a free Corsair enthusiast series 650w
Would it be able to crossfire 2 6850's, as I would like to do after this is finished.
Also any changes please stay around a $650 budget

If you go with the 8GB RAM, which I don't see why not, get 64-bit windows:

For the video card, its always better to have one powerful card than two weaker cards. If I were you, I'd go with a 6950, and then you could always add another one later. But you would need a 750w PSU if ya wanna do that.

Get a good cooler for the CPU if you plan on overclocking it.
 
thanks for the reply, not sure why I put 32bit, I'll be using 64bit. The only problem with a 6950 is I'm not sure if I can fit it into a budget, but I'm going to look around
 
ok, if you're planning on adding the second later cuz you can't now that's fine, i think he thought you meant you were just getting 2 of them now or something.
