My new computer won't work. :(

I have purchased the following:

Power :Hiper Type-R 580W Dual Fan, 4xSATA, ATX, SLI, 20/24pin
Processor: Intel Dual Core E6600 4mbit
Graphic: AXLe 3D Graphics xTreme GeForce 8800GTS 640MB
Memory: Corsair XMS2-6400 TWIN2X2048-6400 Xtreme 2x1024MB
Motherboard: Asus P5B Deluxe iP965

Problem is that it won't startup. The PSU fan is working, but the ASUS logo is blue (meaning the motherboard is in sleep/soft-off mode). What am I doing wrong? I'm posetive the cables are connected right. When I turn the power on and press the start button the PSU flashes blue briefly.

very helpful there ^^. maybe add some help in as well? its not really relevent is it.

and Undrium, i would double check everything is connected ok. could it be a problem with the PSU or another bit of hardware?
 
I've had issues with my Hiper 580w.

Try using a different power supply, then try starting up the Comp with only one stick of RAM and no GPU. If it starts up, then, turn it off, and put everything back in and see if that helps.

If not, talk to Hiper.
 
I had the same problem with the exact same board. if its the same then you are getting nothing on screen right, well to the left og the CPU fan there should be like a four pin connector. you cant miss it its big. find the cable on your power supply that fits there an you should finaly turn it on
 
go into the bios and make sure the voltages are correct. i had the exact same problem as you are experiencing with the same cpu when i first built my current rig. the voltages should be a 1.35V-1.38V.
