Hello everyone, since this is my 1st post im going to make it a combination of my opening plus what my new computer build.

My name is JC, im 21 and from New York. I work with computers for a living, and have been PC gaming since 2006.

This is my 3rd build, and i thought id like to share it with you guys.

I put a lot of time and thought into this system and this is what ive got.

Case: Sunbeam 9-Bay Acrylic Clear Mid-ATX
Price Paid: 79.99$ - Xoxide.com

I picked this case, because i love the clear look. Also this case does not come pre assembled. Just one more thing that makes this computer that much more custom, You have to build this case piece by piece, you pick where u want to mount your drives and fans. It took maybe 2 hours to build, only cause the whole thing is held together with about 60 thumbscrews. all of which were individually wrapped. Heres some pics of it, during the build and finished

Thats Everything i HAVE so far. This computer is not done yet, i had a problem with my VGA waterblock, the one i had originally a (DangerDen 6970 Waterblock) was for a revision 2 video card. The description said it fit my card. after getting the block in the mail, the mounting points were completely different from my card, since dangerden doesnt make a rev1 waterblock i returned it and got an EK block. i am waiting for that to come in the mail still. Basically thats all thats holding me up, once that block comes i can install it then do my first leak test then first boot up.

i still need a monitor, which im looking at an ASUS 23" LED 1920x1080 1080p 50,000,000:1 2ms G2G.

Let me know what u guys think, and if u know of a better monitor. im looking between the 23-27" range under 250$ must be LED and do 1920x1080 resolution, also a display port or hdmi would be nice.

other than all of that heres some more current pictures of the build so far

Really, really cool. $219 for a 2600k? That's a steal.

I'd rather have a case with good cable management, but since yours is water-cooled, airflow doesn't matter as much. Is your PSU modular?

How much is the final cost? And is it green LEDs?

Yeah, i got the sunday paper one day and a local microcenter store's ad was in there. they had the 2500k and 2600k on sale for a week, the i5 was 179 and the i7 219. i ran out there and grabbed one.

my psu is modular but theres 3 pcie cables that are not detachable, there was a lot of extra cables in the bag it came with.

Im usually really OCD when it comes to cable management, mainly why i went for a modualr in this case, i was between a corsair obsidian 650d and this case, so basically in my mind was clean or cool? i went for cool lol. ive always had cases for cable managment and i think its time for a switch up.

fans have UV leds

havent worked out a final cost yet, i have a stack of packing slips on my desk i need to sort through lol
