Here is what i want to know..
Im getting a laptop, and its gonna be from dell with the following specs:
Inspiron E1505:
Intel® Core™ Duo Proc T2050 (1.60GHz/533MHz/2 X 1MB L2 Cache)
Operating System:
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
LCD Panel:
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display
Memory:
512MB Shared Single Channel DDR2 SDRAM 533MHZ
Hard Drive:
60GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
Combo/DVD+RW Drives:
24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive
Video Card:
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™
Sound Options:
Integrated Audio

Do you guys think that those are good specs for a laptop?
Its gonna cost me about 950 total. Just under my 1 grand buget.
My other question is, is that enough power to play for example battle feild 2 or anyother higher end games?

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Dmw.

More memory man. 512 is ok but not quite enough and when vista comes out it requires a minimum of 512 so i would say get at least 1 gig and pay the extra money it will be worth it in the end.

well, i can always upgrade, i mean another stick of 512 is about 50 bucks or less OEM, so i was thinking i can upgrade when it need to.
