i just got a new motherboard an Asrock p4vm8
is not smth big is just cheap and i guess it has enough overclocking options
And smth else ... would it be ok if i put the cpu on the new mb without the thermalgrase ... ? would it be many problems there ?
motherboard, is as you say...cheap. ASRock are normally a budget manufacturer
As for the thermal grease, i wouldn't put the hsf on without it, but its possible.
eeeh.. its just a small upgrade from my previous mb ... i only god this coz its "good" for little overclocking....
any good comments to chear me up ?
jk
thx
1) they do dry up eventually
2) best to replace it after removing the hsf from the cpu to prevent air pocket collecting, that is after all one of the reasons for thermal greese
