hello everyone

im new to this forum, and i really wanted to hear some opinions about my upcoming pc build
as a result of alot, and i mean ALOT of searching and being limited for a certain budget, i finally came up with these specs

Processor:AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz
GPU:EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti Superclock 2gb the maxwell version
4 gb of ram
Motherboard:ASROCK MOTHERBOARD H81-HDS lga 1150

so basically, i want some opinions about this upcoming build, if you guys dont mind i want to know some things

1.will the processor bottleneck the gpu?

2.will the motherboard be able to run the processor?

3.what is the best power supply that i can get for this build?

sorry for asking too many questions, but i want to know one last thing

what is the average fps that i can get with these specs while playing in these games on ultra settings:

1.skyrim

2.battlefield 3/4

3.Minecraft

4.World of tanks

5.World of warplanes

6.Gta IV

7.APB reloaded

at the end thank you so much for reading this topic, looking forward to hearing from you guys :)

CPU - Get FX6300. It will not bottleneck GTX 750 ti
Mobo - That mobo won't work. You need to get AM3+ soucket
PSU - quality 500W will do. Which country are you from.

I can't answer the rest of question. google it yourself.

well, thank you for helping me and thank you for replying

can you recommend a certain motherboard, that has an am3+ socket and wouldnt exceed 150$?

if you insist on knowing where i am from, well i wouldnt lie to you, im from Egypt

i hope that wont change the way people will help me :P

I don't know what being sold in Eygpt...

mobo - Get AMD970 or AMD 990FX chipset. for example
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P/ ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0
ASRock 990FX Killer/ Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

For PSU brand, I recommend seasonic, Antec.

thanks again for the quick reply :)

i think im good to go with the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P

its very cheap compared to the other mobos

well its ok, here in egypt we have everything, we even have the EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN 6GB

but the main problem we have to deal with, is the price, whats for 1100$ is for 9000 pounds here

my only concern now is the average fps i will get, i was meant to create a gaming pc for a good price, sadly, all of the reviews on the web have i5s and i7s processors, unfortuantely, i can only afford i3s and can barely touch the i5 region,

but for the i7s...pffft..they can reach 4k in here

since your GTX 750ti is not a high end card, your CPU should not bottleneck GTX 750ti.

So what you need you check is how GTX 750 ti perform against the game you want. But I don't expect you can play game with ultra setting.

Also, I don't think GTX 750ti is good value, you may consider R9 270X if you have money

but..how?

all of the videos i watched and all of the reviews i read on amazon referred to how good this card was for that value and that it can reach the power of the gpus for 300 or 400$

even the gameplays which were posted on youtube using the gtx 750 ti were flying in fps

they could run bf 4 in ultra at 35 fps, skyrim in ultra at 45

and aloooot of high graphiced games in ultra at atleast 30 fps

the reason i asked people to show me average fps in certain games was because all of these reviews i mentioned were either made using i5s or i7s processors

it seems that noone wanted to use amds

great...just when i thought my only problem was with the processor it turned out that the gpu wasnt good enough..

A 750Ti is completely fine and you don't need anything like a 500W PSU for a 750Ti. A 430W will be plenty. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...026&cm_re=corsair_430w-_-17-139-026-_-Product

Look here for a review of the 750Ti and its power requirements.

and here (showing how little CPU you require)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_Pnte_niJE

It will be great.

thank you so much for replying....i really couldnt think that i could find a better replacement for the 750 ti

so now my new specs

gpu:EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti Superclock

MotherBoard: Still unknown

Processor: Still unknown

PSU: you recommended 430 but it will change according to the mobo and the processor

hardware: 1tb

rams: 4gb of rams

im sorry but i would really love to get an advice from you telling me exactly which processor should i buy and shall be perfect for my build

for as an examply, intel i3,i5,i7? and if i should buy any amds?

also i would love to know which motherboard should i buy? as it shall make a difference if you recommended an intel processor for me as i shall give up on am3+ sockets motherboards in that case

also one last thing, a psu that would run everything perfectly

thank you so much again, and im waiting for your reply :)

What is your overall budget in US$?

How much more expensive of PC hardware compare to price in US?

well..i cant afford more than 450$ in total.

my old pc build: Pentium (R) Dual-core E5700 3.00 GHZ

4gb ram

windows 7 32 bit

Motherboard: Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT

unfortunately....that build was made 2 years ago, as i didnt know anything about the internal pieces of the pc, but later, my eyes started to see the light

that build costed me 250$

if you were asking about the cost of my upcoming build in us dollars, then im sorry but i wont be able to tell you as i still dont know which processor or which motherboard shall i buy

thank you for your concern....if anyone knows a processor and a mobo which will fit perfectly in this build and shall be perfect for gaming, please tell me

best regards

The reason I am asking is you need to get a balance machine out of your budget.

For gaming Machine, My pick would be AMD 760K < FX6300 < FX8320 < i5 4690K < i7 4790K

well, thanks again for the quick reply

so now lets say my build is going to be:

I5 4690k, Evga Geforce GTX 750 ti 2gb

for an unknown reason....im more satisfied with intel more than amd...probably because i have never tried amd before..

the total is 400$, i have been searching on amazon and the i5 is for 250$ and the gtx 750 is 150$

so..i need to find a mobo for 50$, can you recommend a mobo for that price?

The 4690K is a good choice.

Just make sure you have the latest BIOS on the motherboard to accept the 4690K. http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/manual/bios_update.pdf

You may need to ensure that the BIOS is updated prior to shipping unless you have another CPU you can put in there to complete the bios upgrade. Failure to do this may render the motherboard unbootable.

Format a USB to FAT32 and copy this file on to it.
Start the computer
Tap F12 to enter the BIOS update
Update the BIOS
Renter the BIOS and set default settings. Save and Restart.
Renter the BIOS and set your own customised settings. Save and Restart.

If this is not possible, you either take it to a computer shop and ask them to flash the bios.

lol, im so sorry, but it seems that i wanted to hear word excellent or great

i know i asked you too many questions, im probably being annoying right now

but i need to make sure im making the best use out of the 450$ as i wont upgrade this pc in a long time
