Hey guys,
I got this new PC and it is running really slow. I know it is not top gear but I guess it should be running games on at least normal settings. (not even running
Skyrim on low without lagging)
So i am wondering what could be the problem and if u guys got any solutions.
This is what i got inside:
-AMD A8-6600K 4 x 4000 MHz
-Radeon HD 8570 4096 MB
-8192MB DDR3 1600 MHz

What are your temps? I think that's the problem. Something could be overheating.

Also close all background programs and maybe run a malware scan

When you say it runs slow, is it slow aside from gaming? Is your average computer use such as browsing the web and opening programs also really slow? What operating system are you running?

Im running win 8.1 64 bits, the temps are alright, nothing is above normal temperatures.
everything is running smooth except when I get into a game.
I got a 400W power supply, could that be a problem?

You have an apu with integrated graphics and that is the problem. You need a dedicated video card.

Even so, Skyrim should be able to run fine on low...

CPU: Dual core 2GHz

RAM: 2 GB

VGA: DX9c video card with 512MB RAM

DX: DirectX 9

OS: Win XP/7/Vista (32 or 64 bit)

HDD: 6 GB

Sound: DX compatible sound card

Network: Internet Access for Steam activation

The iGPU has 256 shaders so it should run OK.

I'd make sure you don't have any AA enabled although you'll probably get certain parts that have laggy FPS.

Also make sure your RAM is actually running at 1600 MHz and in dual channel. If you installed the sticks in a single channel configuration it will run really poorly.

This... When I first booted up my system with the A8 for flashing my Mobo, it was running at 1066MHz and not the 2133MHz it could have run at.

i tried installing both win 7 and win 7 64 bit and nothing changed, everything is working properly except games. I guess it really have integrated graphics.
Anyone has any suggestion for a dedicated graphic card, that my power supply of 400 w will be able to run?

Yeah you're probably just expecting more out of your machine than you should. Despite the marketing those APU's really aren't that great for gaming.
