My new PC

Just purchased a new pc... it has no O/S so i'll have to purchase one..
What do you think of the specs?

QUAD CORE 2 Q6600 8MB CACHE 1066MHZ

4096MB DDR2 800mhz MEMORY

NVIDIA 8500GT SLI 512MB DDR 3 PCI EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD

500 GB 16MB CACHE SERIAL ATA HARD DRIVE

20X DUAL LAYER DVD-RW DRIVE

ASUS P5N-E SLI NFORCE 650 MOTHERBOARD

600 watt PSU

4gb of memory is overkill.

and 8500gt is a sad excuse of a vid card if you want to game, seeing as you have some decent ram and a quad core.

i cant beleive you bought it in sli, lol not even as good as one 8600 gts i dont think

what brand psu?

just checked and a pair of 8500 gt's is a little better than a 8600 gt, so its worse than a 8600 gts. oh my

The other graphics cards are too expensive at the moment.... and it can be easily upgraded i suppose. It doesnt say the make of the PSU..

Would this system be sufficient enough to run a game like crysis?

I would do something about your GPU(sell it and buy an other one), and be sure to install vista 64bit!

I agree with the others, it's a very nice computer minus the graphics cards. I don't think it'll run Crysis very well. And do find out the brand of the PSU. Anyways, when you get the money, change the graphics card and possibly the PSU and you'll be all ready to game.
