I'm building a new PC and I'm about to buy the remaining parts I need. However, I would like some opinions about the following parts from you guys on quality, price, easy installation, compatibility, ect.

My budget is real tight so if you offer an alternative make it very close to the price listed here. Thanks
:)

^ Those 100MHz/200Mhz are not gonna make a difference worth the extra $10 but anyways....

And no matter if the game sucks (which is your opinion), it's still free

I see you guy are not really liking the 9600GT. Is it that inferior?

I liked the GIGABYTE MoBo cause I heard it was user friendly (only my 2nd build) and last MoBo I had was a pain to use with SATA drives (not recognizing them).

trust me, the 8800gt is way better then a 9600gt. It has more stream processors. and, you can stick with the gigabyte mobo, its your choice. Biostar, to me and many others have a bad reputation with items arriving DOA or Dead On Arival. Gigabyte is a way better motherboard producer. If I were you i'd stick the the gigabyte motherboard. I, myself was scared that my biostar motherboard would come DOA, but luckily it did not =]

Oh, and the gigabyte board is a very good choice. If you look at the pictures of the motherboard, the SATA ports are placed in a very good position, so you can use big videocards without having to worry about the card blocking SATA ports, unlike many other motherboards *cough* XFX

OR for 5 dollars more, you could get a nice gigabyte P43 motherboard. PLUS it has a pci-e 2.0 x16, so it will not restrict your card's performance. (pci-e 2.0 x16 card + Pci-e x16 slot = 1-3 less) OR (Pci-E 2.0 x16 card + Pci-e 2.0 x16 slot = no restriction, your get the 1-3 fps back)

Gigabyte P43 (faster):

^^ PCI-E 2.0 really wouldn't make that big of a difference, if not no difference at all with a 9600 GT or an 8800 GT.

Well that rules out poor frames rates as the cause of you sucking in Cod4 danny :)

But yeah looks pretty good, as far as the 8800gt vs 9600gt are concerned, the 8800gt is somewhat better, definitely worth it if you have the money. However if your budget is really tight then the 9600gt is fine as its not that far behind the 8800gt.
