Hello...

this is my first post here....and i am sure i came to the correct forum.

my current pc spec's are :

intel P4 3000mhz....1 gb ram....vga card nvidia geforce 5600 (256mb)...motherboard intel D865PERL.

i am planning to to by a new pc with a spec's like this :

intel centrino core 2 quad extrem 3.0 ......4 gb ram......vga card nvidia geforce ultra 8800 (768mb)....motherboard(i don't know what is the best of the best to buy) ?

my question is ...when i buy this new system ...is the difference between the old and the new in terms of performance is noticable?

or i would not see any difference ?

now i use win xp...shall i go with the new system to vista ?

plz advice my ...and if u see the new spec's are not the best (please let me know what is the top market spec's).

i want to buy the Best Of the Best pc in the market...i will buy every item like (processor, motherboard, vga card,ram's...etc)and i will build them my self.

thanks in advance.

you're going to notice an extreme difference between your current system and that new one you have listed. Especially when multi tasking. I'm not sure if that video card supports direct x 10 (if you want top of the line make sure you get one that does) and in that case you'll need windows vista to take advantage of that as direct x 10 is vista only :( In addition might i recommend going with dual monitors as this will help you multi task and take better advantage of this new setup you're getting. It may seem a little odd at first but trust me once you get used to it you'll never want to go back.
