my parents dinosaur of a computer

lol no its really not that old but they are running windows 98 on it right now. My mom was using it earlier, she was using the internet searching various websites for jobs. But so before she came back up stairs she rebooted and walked upstairs before it finished, so i went down to do some laundry and walked by the machine to find a blue screen with this on it:

A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C02A27A8 in VXD VWIN32(05)
+000012D0. The current application will be terminated.

*press any key to terminate the current application
*press ctrl + alt + del again to restart

I just hit space bad and it continued with the reboot, but my question is why did that message come up and what does it mean?

Can you tell us a little bit more EXACTLY what have your mom been doing on that computer before the blue screen showed up?

big error in Win32 (part of the operating system), which in effect crashed (could be memory error or the fact the win98's no overly compatible with the system it's installed on.) Back then, the OS didn't have protection built into the OS that prevented the entire system from crashing when one component went down!
