My pc doesn't boot up ... HELP!

I have an old AMD K-6 500Mhz processor PC with ALI chipset and AWARD Bios. When I turn on the pc it will check the ram and then it will recognize the CD drive and hard disk but then it says CMOS Check Sum Error :((

What do I do?
 
I had a similar problem after I flashed the BIOS in my old PCchips Mobo. I never got it back up and running. Unless someone here has a magic cure, I would suggest building a new system but I am not an expert.
 
Please post the entire error that you get, all words included, might to be able to help if I knew what check sum error you have. It's usually a sign that some piece of hardware or firmware is malfunctioning and the error message and numbers help isolate it.
 
RESET your bord after reading manual how to do.

+ if it don't works remove your battery from your mb for 10 secs

still you can try to call the function "call original settings" to reset your board.

This message means that u have to change ur old battery with a new one, It will cost u nothing but that.
