i brought a new computer 5 months ago its a pre built computer purchased from ebuyer (made buy zoostrom), usually while playing games after about 30mins (it differs between games) my computer turns off instantly.
i belive the problem is due to overheating, possibly the CPU. the inside of the case is quite warm although i dont know if its usually warm anyway my bios states the tempreture inside the case is just under 50c and the CPU was also just under 50c.
Using 'core temp 64' while gaming it says that my pc runs at 75c while games are active. (Just before crashing) and idle with 'core temp 64' my cpu is just under 50c.
When gaming the CPU temp starts of at about 60c and increases to 75c after about 15 - 30mins (once again depending which game im playing).
i want to add that my computer is in the attic (my bedroom) and it gets quite warm up here: up to about 25c. i think the overheating problem could be due to my case (poor ventalation).
MY CPU comes with a cheap Akasa cooler (heatsink & fan),there is a small fan (about 80cm diameter) at the back of the case below the powerpack. The powersupply itself has 2 fans, 1 in the bottom and pointing out the back of the case. My graphics card has a fan/heatsink too but seems to put out a LOT of heat by itself. There are no other fans in front/side or top.
My Graphics Card is a xfx ati radeon hd 4870 512mb
My CPU Is a AMD Phenom 9850 quad core 2.50GHZ
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA78LM-S2 (Info + Drivers Here - http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=3189 )

What do you think is causing this problem? could it mabey be my CPU or GPU overheating or the ventalation in the pc any help or sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
