Recently I bought a reconditioned Compaq desk top with plenty of memory to download all my music on to the PC and enjoy the benifits of Itunes.
The spec is:
Intel Pentium III
596 mhz
512 RAM
80G C drive with 66G free space
I'm not sure what has happened but everytime I now play any track or view some video from the BBC website it sounds like a really poor cassette tape - all out of tune and breaking up. I asked someone at work and they though it may be a memory issue but this PC should be man enough?
It may be a coincidence but all retoration point are not working either over the last 6 weeks or so (although I made one yesterday and that worked).
I know my way round the computer (although no expert) and would really appreciate any advise you may me able to offer in finding out what wrong!
