my pc shows select boot divice

After some time if i reun nero wave editor/pinnacle/some convertor softwares it goes to restart and shows select proper boot divice or reboot and some time it sangs.
My pc configaration is CPU p4 2.4 Ghz/MB 845GVSR/RAM 512(256+256)/HDD Samsung 80GB/Monitor Samsung SyncMaster793s.

What is the solution.
 
Perhaps it's a BIOS problem where your hard disk is not configured correctly. Check it is your first in the boot sequence. Could be the BIOS battery is failing.
