So yesterday.. I was all excited to get my new 'system'. I ordered all new parts from newegg. I've worked through the night, and now it won't start. I think It might have to do with the 'startsw' cable. I dont know though. Any advice on things i could check?
Like that you have the pwr cable plugged into the right plug. Disconnect everything but the PWR cable to the motherboard and the speaker cable if you have one then try powering it on.
So it's not even posting?
Also is the PSU plugged into the motherboard and the extra 4 or 8 pin cable plugged in as well?
We need some more info. Type of parts. What you've tried so far etc...

Apevia Case.
I think The problem lies with the PWR cable, The one that goes to Front "panel1" Header on my mother board. I havent Really mastered the whole 'pin' thing.. this is only my second computer built. I have checked the connections with all hardware.. The MOBO is connected with a 20 pin cable, althought both the PSU and motherboard can handle a 24 pin. Please help
I've corrected one mistake, The PSU is v2.x, which in turn means it uses a 24 pin MOBO connector. I changed that, and still nothing happens. I'm Stumped. I've rechecked the hardware connections over and over, still nothing. Im begining to beleive the PSU might be DOA, but without the proper equiptment, theres really no way to tell..
Disconnect everythign but the CPU, Video Card, Ram, and then try to power on. With the only plug from the case being the PWR cable into the mobo. Also maybe try reseating the mobo could be grounded.
