My sister wants to get a laptop for general word processing, internet browsing, and watching DVD movies on. That's all she needs so she is looking for a budget one.. Would this one work for her?

I would wonder if Recertified means the same as refurbished or something to that effect. I always stay away from things like that, but thats just me. Other than that I think for what your sister wants to do..i'ts a perfectly fine laptop.
