my video card temp stays the same?

For some reason my video card temp stays the same at 54 C... Rather i play game or not it is always at 54 C. I am using Rivertuner btw

Which video card are you using? The 8600GTS? Try to see what nVidia tells you.

I can't find the temperature report in nvidia control panel
Oh and yeah i am using the 8600 GTS from MSI

Right mouse click on your Desktop >> Properties >> Choose last tab(mine is in Dutch, so I don't know the name of that word) >> Advanced >> Geforce 8600GTS

When i go to 8600 GTS it only shows me a button that says "start the Nvidia control panel"

CLick that, and then clickmonitor temperature levels...

You need to download Ntune to see the temps in the nvidia control panel now that I think about it. Whenever I click on the temps tab, It alway bring up the ntune monitor...

So either download Ntune or PCwizard, doesn't matter.

Don't worry about it. If you start getting artifacting or something then you can worry about it.

Artifacting is when Foreign crap appears on screen in the middle of a game. Could be little dots or lines, Anything out of the ordinary. Artifacting is generally caused by either overclocking or heat, and it's ugly.
