My water cooling with a Q9450

I have the Kandalf LCS case and I am a bit nervous that the Q9450 won't be compatible with this water cooling setup.

I currently have the E6600 and my buddy has the Q6700 (same case and cooling). So logically i'm thinking that these new Core 2 Quads are using the same type of quad technology and should work no problem right? The 45nm is really making me nervous on compatibility though.

Can anyone verify i'll have no compatibility issues?

That is the closest I could find to mine. They look completely identical. The BWS was changed though, that's not what my model numbers suffix was.

The CPU's look exactly the same on the outside, they both have the same LGA 775 socekt design and the same style heatspreader.

If it worked with your E6600 which is an LGA 775, then it will work with the 45nm Q9450 which is also LGA 775.
