My whacky PC

infected with ad/malware, viruses, event viewer errors and is being hacked by people in Indiana, Wisconsin & Brooklyn,NY oddly. How did this happen? Please let me know what anti product i need to purchase either at a local realtor or online to eliminate and optimize my PC to it's previous state. Furthermore, I am interested in downloading roms + emulators. Unfortunately, my PC's screen solution cuts out the outer (left & right) portions in black leaving me with a display only in the middle. I have relentlessly tried to repair this issue with no fortune. Best Buy told me it's the emulators fault. Moreover, I want to download virtua nes, sega genesis emulator, snes emulator. After this is done; where can I get and purchase some games? I know it's a whacky forum topic, so take your time and answer carefully.:D

im sorry, mentioning the last part of your request...id be having a hard time helping you without violating tos...good idea might be not to be breaking copyrights and doing emulation...but thats my 0.02

first thing to do for you my man would be a format and fresh install of windows, that would eliminate all ur virus/error issues

as far as roms go, download emus from emuzone, and roms from coolrom

There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition that if you have one lawful copy of a copyrighted work, you are entitled to have a second copy of the copyrighted work even if that second copy is an infringing copy. The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game to ensure he or she has one in the event of damage or destruction of the authentic. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet.

Are emulators illegal? Well, technically it's not illegal to have it, but what good is it having the emulator if you can't do anything with it. To make the emulator useful, you have to get the ROMs, and it's illegal to possess ROMs. Having an emulator is having a console but no games for it.
