My Windows Vista license is expiring in 8 days???

why does my windows vista says that my 'license is expiring in 8 days and please install vista' ? i have an oem edition of windows vista....
 
Did you ever activate it?
Are you talking about an OEM version of Vista that you purchased and installed?
Are you talking about Vista already being pre-installed on a store-bought PC?
Are you talking about a Restore disc re-installation using discs from your PC maker?
 
If you have the watermark on bottom right saying Vista build 6000 or 6001 or something then says evaluation copy. Then you probably got the rc version of service pack 1 for vista all you have to do is download this one and remove the other one then install. Watermark should be gone and it should be full version of vista :). Depending on 64bit and 32bit heres two links:
