my wireless disconnects at the same times daily.

every time I use the internet it disconnects without fail between 13:40-2:35 and again between 5-6. Then it either comes back on or I have to unplug the router for about 10 minutes for it to come back on.

well today I didn't bother to use it at 2. I have no idea whether it disconnected or not but I used it at 4pm and it disconnected as it usually does at 2 and didn't come back foro 2 hours.:confused: wtf. i've been putting up with this for 1 month or so. I am thinking about finally calling the company but isntead of wasting money on the phone I want to find out if there's something I can do.
I have the virgin media netgear router.

I've checked whether there is a specific thing that happens between those times to cause internet loss. But if that's the case why did it disconnect at 4 as soon as I logged on?:mad::mad:

someone please help?
 
Is the router virgin or netgear? Doesn't make sense if it's both. Also what kind of security are you using for your wireless. If there's no security it could be someone else logging onto the network and downloading stuff. Also, have you tried updating the firmware for that router.
 
So it's only wireless? Can you confirm wired internet still works through the router?

My first thought is probably some kind of interference. My previous 2.4GHz phone would kill my wireless any time it rang. We've since ditched all the 2.4GHz phones here and gotten Dect6.0 and 900MHz :P
 
Hi. We have Virgin. Same thing happened to us as well for a little bit.

Seems to have stopped now, maybe yours will some time soon. I know that doesn't really answer your questions, but thats my experience! Doug.
 
i also face this problem after reset my router (linkksys).my wireless disconnect any time.some time 2time in one hr.some time 2 time in a day.
i reset many time but still face problem
