My wireless internet?????

My wireless internet is the same speed and brand as my friends being 54.0mbps. my friends internet (on all computers including mine) goes lightning fast, the youtube loads faster than it plays. my modem router is also connected to a desktop computer via ethernet. my friends connection is fast even with 2 laptops connected. the internet is broadband by the way. would my brother being on the desktop computer be a reason for the slowness. especially when he is on youtube it is slow. it will take me 10-15 seconds to get into this site. any ideas as to what might be wrong
 
Your brother could be the reason, as for the slow down someone else on your network mite be download at high speeds which tends to take up the bandwidth.

Coul be ur internet conection if u have like 1 Mb/s conection thats the reason or slower but if u have a faster one ur bro could be the reason

By the way what is ur speed and what is ur frieds speed???
 
The 54 mb/s does not tell you your internet speed, thats just the wireless speed between your computer and the wireless. To test the speed, goto speedtest.net and test from there.
 
it could possibly be you tube while its trying to buffer a video on one computer it could be using a higher band width casuing you to become slow
 
Yeah, just because you have 802.11g wireless doesnt mean that your actual internet connection is any good. You could have dialup and still "connect" at 54mbps wirelessly.
