MyCleanPC - Effective or not....???

As said, most of these type of programs are scams and include malware with them. Really the only way to keep your system up to its original speed is to keep it cleaned out of old temporary system files and internet files. You can do that by downloading and running Ccleaner once a week or every other week depending on how much you websurf. If a system gets too bad then the only viable solution would be to do a fresh install of windows.

You also have to remember that there are certain memory requirements for each windows operating system. Having more memory installed will speed up your system as well to a point.

XP recommended to have at least 1gb - 2gb
Vista and windows 7 recommended to have at least 3gb

Maybe it does what they say, but it probably does a crummy job of it. And paying anyone to do the things they advertise is an absolute waste of money. They don't even offer any pricing information on their site. You probably have to do their "free" diagnosis, plus give them your name and your email just to get any pricing. That just screams scam to me.

To be frank (and no offense), it looks like its a service for people who don't know any better. We can help you do the same things they "say" they do... and we don't charge you or sell your identity to surveys, advertisers, or others.
