Mysterious box

I notice that there is a mysterious blank box on my taskbar when I turn on my computer and when I run spybot and sometimes when I close IE.

I just ran Spybot, I got an error in the middle, clicked enter, it kept running and after the program was finished running, there was this mysterious box again.

When you click on it, it goes away. If you try to right click to show properties, you can't. And if you do CNTRL-ALT-DLT to see the programs running, it doesn't show anything about this blank box.

There has to be something there, is it a spy program?
 
odly enough today when i booted my pc and it loaded to desktop there was a black box in my Taskbar aswell but when i double clicked on it,It turned out to be Nod32s icon which went wierd for some reason.

might have been because of the black theme im using but still it was wierd.

its not done it since though,Might not be the same as you though are you running NOD32 antivirus?
 
Sorry, I don't know how to post a picture. You know how each program that's open shows in your task bar as a square box with the name of the program running. This is just a blank square box with nothing there. It did it again when I opened IE today. Weird. I have Windows 98 if that helps.
