Name Brand Memory or not??

I want to upgrade my PC but I don't know much about RAM should I get name brand memory ex:Corsair or will I be ok if I purchase the cheapest RAM I can find? I want to upgrade to improve the performance of my PC for online gaming. What do you guys think??

When you buy cheap RAM you get cheap RAM. Go with Corsair.

However, if you're talking about the setup in your sig I think you should get a new video card, since that will improve performance more than an upgrade from 1 to 2GB of RAM would.

Yeah, my video card is on its way. I'm replacing it with an 7600GT. As for the RAM I can only get a PC3200. I need the RAM upgrade since the game I play requires more RAM than 1Gb.

Yup, DDR400 and PC3200 are the same thing.

DDR1 is very cheap, you could easily get 1gb of good RAM for like $60 or less.. Check out Newegg.

Yes, my mistake DDR400 is the same thing. I told you guys I don't know much about RAM.
