I am transferring from a fixed phone modem to a mobile Telstra 4G wifi wireless modem, so I can use it a home (desktop) as well as when we are in the caravan (notebook), as well as a smart phone. My desktop does not have wifi built in, so on the advice of a person on a caravan forum I purchased one of these:

Will this give me wifi on my desktop on its own or do I also have to install a wifi card as well. It was intimated to me that the NANO-Wireless-N-WiFi-USB-Adapter was all that I needed.
